"Best Performance by an Actress in a Leading Role" went to Ellen Burstyn. Composer John McCarthy received the award for "Achievement in Music - Original Score". The wins came from a total of four <em>Stone Angel</em> nominations, which included "Achievement in Art Direction/Production Design" for Production Designer Rob Gray and "Achievement in Cinematography" for Director of Photography Bobby Bukowski.
